Investigating the Construction of Ijma in The Study of Islamic Law through Sociological and Historical Approach

This paper aims to examine the construction of ijma in study Islamic law through sociological and historical approaches. The research looks at qualitative data literature studies. In legal methods, this is categorized as normative with a conceptual approach. concept becomes object paper. Furthermore, examined socio-historical analysis. results discussion show that difference views on basis must be obeyed, influenced by arguments (propositions Qur'an sunnah) which are references different interpretations propositions held opinion. looking can used argument also begins from setting standard definition criteria (pillars conditions) itself considering capacity whether an opinion "all" or "majority". addition, development conceptions laws about inseparable social each period.
